Offload Studios excels at completing all the necessarily preparations to your digital files that may be required before we can your art to a tactual experience! The following concepts will provide awareness of the inherent concerns in bringing your work from the virtual to reality:

Quote Generation:

We do not plug art into an automated machine. You don’t create art with a macro just as our quotes are not generated automatically. Every digital file is unique to the artists – both of us. The pricing environment

Gravity:

While our production motto is “No Limits”, gravity always dominates! If you want your character in mid air – we will provide you with a quote! Staying within the laws of physics will save on the production cost. Please ensure that your model will be able to support itself when standing upright or leaning into the dynamic pose.

Further, consider the base your art will be mounted upon. You can sculpt your own, purchase one or devise a creative solution with us!

Size:

No limit.

Thickness:

Structural tolerances depends on the output size. Weight bearing extensions and protruding thin details could need thickening. Please refer to our Product Preparation Guidelines.
Geometry:

Each piece of your model will be water tight in the end. Any open faces will be capped. We cannot print inverted face normals as they create a black hole vortex which absorbs energy sucking the entire statue into the abyss…. A mesh clipping through another mesh with a internal hole will have to be capped as well. Sound confusing? Leave it us!

Polygon Reduction:

We prefer you to not waste your time reducing detail through polygon optimization. The bigger the better although the option to toggle high densities helps us!

Multi-Object Prints:

We do not require you to union your mesh elements. Chances are, whatever you find most natural to develop your art – we do the same!

File Formats:

We accept your source files. Collapsing stacks, history, mesh sub-d levels is not needed as well as special exports. Working as close to the source of your creation space is preferred. This allows for seamless physical transition.

Surface Textures:

We accept and produce surface texture on your output. UV texture space, 24bit diffuse maps, polygon paint, vertex lighting – precise and accurate to your digital paint. Out of respect for the artist, we do not attempt to replicate your exture by hand painting.

Post Processing:

We provide many Fine Art surface treatments. Bronzing, Pewters and Executive Finishes further the creative vision. We accept requests for challenging results. Additionally, electronics, robotics and armatures are quite possible as well.
